Responsibilities include:

• Collection of remote sensing data for cotton and other row crops using drones and other tools
• Processing imagery and extracting key features
• Development and testing of high-throughput phenotyping methodologies
• Use of satellite data and machine learning models to estimate yield and other key traits at production field-scale
• Development of machine learning models to estimate traits of importance in cotton and other crops
• Assisting with breeding and improvement of cotton and sorghum

Responsibilities included:

• Collection of remote sensing data for cotton, sorghum, peanut, and maize using drones
• Processing of imagery and feature extraction
• Development of machine learning models for yield and other key traits for cotton, peanut, and sorghum
• Assisting with breeding and improvement of sorghum and other crops
• Genetic analyses and other laboratory assays as needed
